4Sciences collaborated as part of an international team commissioned by VLIR-UOS, the development cooperation arm of the Flemish Interuniversity Council (VLIR), which facilitates partnerships between Flemish universities and institutions in the Global South.
The project aimed to develop strategic approaches that enhance the capacity of Flemish higher education institutions to identify and secure funding for international cooperation in support of sustainable development.
As part of this work, the team conducted a comprehensive benchmarking exercise of comparable European organisations, mapped international funding opportunities, and facilitated in-house workshops focused on co-creating actionable strategies with institutional stakeholders.
